December 18, 1944 ~ March 26, 2023
After many years of failing health, I leave behind memories of my loving wife Noreen, children Julie (Mike), Anita (Mark), Dana (Alex); stepchildren Wendy (Brent), Derek (Carissa); grandchildren Alex, Ethan, Lexi, Shana, Evan, Frankie, Vada, Jonah, Isaiah, Eva, Eli and Adelle; brothers Rod (Pat), Randy, and sister Corinne (Ken).
We spent much time on the Winnipeg River fishing and attending children’s and grandchildren’s activities including all school and sporting events: hockey, ringette, snowmobiling, ultimate frisbee, soccer, baseball, basketball, swimming and music. We did so much together, but my failing health prevented me from attending some events.
I enjoyed my community involvements, volunteering and serving on many different committees and building projects both at the adult and children levels. It was a pleasure working with all and I give thanks to everyone involved.
Thanks to my wife for keeping a beautiful yard and up keeping the x-mas trees.
Again, thanks to all residents of the community and I am sure my family is in good hands.

Anita, Julie, Dana and families. I am so very sorry to hear of your dad and grandpas passing. He was always so nice to me. Often would call me or talk to me about what was going on In The curling world. What was Selena’s team doing now. I soooo appreciated our talks even when it was just on personal level. It is never easy to lose a parent. We are never ready. Keep your memories close. And lean on those closest to you for comfort. My deepest condolences to you all.

Julie, Anita, Dana and families,
Thinking of you all during these difficult days ahead. I have so many memories of us all when we were younger. I called your Dad “Mr” for years. Ringette and the Papa’s… those were the most memorable. Everyone spending time together at one another’s places after a game or tournament. Your Dad always had a smile and time for a quick chat.
