So glad I was able to say goodbye before today. Ken was certainly someone special and unique. Didn’t know how much he meant to me and how much I will miss him even though to him I was The Old Boot. Always knew how to make everyone laugh. He was special. Be at peace my cousin

He enjoyed his large circle of family and friends forever making house calls and keeping in touch with his big Ukranian family – a true kindred spirit of nature & the great outdoors & it’s critters & creatures. He will be very sadly missed. Despite his medical battles his natural sense of humour persisted until his final days, mentioning to me he would be cousin #4 to leave our planet earth – Rest In Peace dear cousin Ken – it’s such a loss of life you had to leave us at only 75. I wish u had another 20 years to go. We will see u in the stars that shine in heaven …Cousin Debchuck & family (John , Kathryn & Alan Milligan)

We are so thankful to have had the opportunity to personally bid Ken a loving farewell. He has left us with wonderful memories and “treasures”. What a kind and generous soul you were Ken.
We will miss his phone calls that always started with “Is this the party to whom I am speaking?” and ending with “send money”.
Safe travels across the universe dear friend. Love and miss you,
    Favorite cousin Ernie & Debby

Worked with Ken in several locations within Finning over many, many years. Always a character to be sure and always a wise crack to ease any tense situation. Any time I think of Ken I see that small cigar hanging from the corner of his mouth, not always lit, but there at the majority of times.
Always willing to share his Cat knowledge and stories of how fast his GTO or my GTO was back in the day.
My Very Sincere condolences to Maureen and the family.
    RIP my friend, RIP

Introduced to each other in Cranbrook 1972-73 . Work or leisure time, Ken and Maureen were always a great time. From Cranbrook Finning days to 2020 we have stayed in touch, sharing new stories and revisiting old ones. An I will attitude and an eye for detail were one of many of Ken’s strengths . Sometimes things would go a bit side-ways on one of many outings with Ken and I, one of Ken’s many sayings ( what made you do that).
Always were, always will be a true friend.
