1920 ~ 2014

Kathrine Butler passed away peacefully at Oakview Place Personal Care Home in Winnipeg on Friday, February 14, 2014 at the age of 93.

Kathrine was predeceased by her husband Alan.  She will be lovingly remembered by her son Kenneth (Joan Bartholet) of Winnipeg and their children Faye Drew (Peoria, ILL) David and Larry Bartholet (Winnipeg), Kathleen McRae and her daughter Michelle (Winnipeg) as well as her good friend Anne Strilchuk (Dauphin).  Kathrine was a kind and generous person who always thought of others first.   Kathrine enjoyed traveling with Alan to Kenya where she went on four safaris.

Our sincere thanks to Oakview Place Personal Care Home for their commitment to Kathrine’s care and well-being.

As per Kathrine’s request, cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will take place in the spring.

If so desired donations may be made in Kathrine’s memory to a charity of one’s choice or the Winnipeg Humane Society.
