Kathleen “Kay” Stobert (nee Mutcher)

1928 ~ 2012
Kay passed away peacefully at the age of 84 at East Gate Lodge. She was born in Manitou.
She is predeceased by her parents Ben and Rose and her brother Oriville and infant daughter Patricia.
She will be lovingly remembered by her loving husband of 62 years, Harry, and her four children: Mervin (Janice), Keith (Charlene), Randy and Erwin, grandchildren: Dustin, Heidi, Justine and Landon.
Kay fell in love with Harry and they married on May 20, 1950. The couple moved to Beausejour where they worked on their farm and raised their children and attended Green Bay Church.
A special thank you to the staff at East Gate Lodge and Dr. Schmidt at Beausejour Hospital, as well as home care worker Alice Blixt.
A family only funeral was held on Saturday, December 15 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Green Bay at 1:30 p.m. with viewing one hour prior.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to East Gate Lodge Personal Care Home or Parkinson Society Manitoba.
