Mrs. Josephine Pusiewich, aged 88 years, of Beausejour, MB, formerly of Stead, MB, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at the Beausejour Hospital. Josephine was born in Narol, Poland.
Left to mourn her passing are her sons Jim (Coreen), Bill, and Tom, brother Leo Szumilak, grandchildren Jason, Jenny, Kimberley, and Joel, great grandchildren Sadie, Danica, Emmalise, and Rowan and many special nephews, nieces and friends. Josephine was predeceased by her husband Joseph, sister Gladys Rebizant, brothers Marion Szumilak and Julian Szumilak (Poland) and great grandson Luthor Van Nieuw Amerongen.
Mom loved family get-togethers, cooking perogies and she made the best cabbage rolls and headcheese.
Funeral Service was held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 5 at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue E., Beausejour interment followed in Gull Lake Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Beausejour Hospital or to a charity or organization of your choice.

Grandma Josie! A lively, spry lady whose love of family and zeal for life will be remembered. I loved her ever-ready “something the chew on” for the “long” trip home from Beausejour to Winnipeg. Sadly missed; lovingly remembered.
