1923 ~ 2015
Peacefully after a short hospital stay, Joseph Nespor, aged 92, passed away on September 26, 2015.
Joe was predeceased by his wife Vivian in 2014. He is survived by his sister Mary, his sons Harley, Ralph (Donna) and daughter Cindy. He is also survived by his grandchildren Kristian (Chelsea), Courtney, Cory, Kristy (Dan), Jodi (Brian), Rikki (Brandon), Brett as well as two great grandchildren Aribella and Skilyr.
Thank you to the doctors and staff at the Pinawa Hospital for their care and compassion.

Well the fastball team in heaven just got a huge boost, and I suspect if there is a golf course up there,(and I pray that there is), that a foursome just got filled. One of the finest gentleman and competitors I have had the privilege to meet. He gave the young softball players of Manitoba a benchmark to aspire to, get selected to play on Joe’s team. He will be missed but not forgotten.

I have a photography of Joseph when he was in Squadron 422 in Halifax, Nova Scotia around 1943. I found the photograph in my mother’s photo album. There are ten men in the photograph and are named in Joseph’s My Adopted Country. Please email me and I will send it to you.
