Peacefully, with family by his side, we announce the sudden passing of a very special person in our lives, JB Tardiff at the age of 59, on October 28, 2014.

JB is survived by his kids Matt (Josee), Shawn (Jess), Stephanie (Trevor), his lifelong cherished friend Pam, 14 Grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, father Ovide, siblings Susie, Barry (Kim), Kelly, Kim (Brian), Sheldon (Shelley), Lynn (Brent), Michelle (Shawn) as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends!

He was preceded by his mom Kay, grandparents, aunts and uncles.  Service will be held on Saturday, November 1 at 11:00 a.m. with Prayers at 10:30 a.m. at the Notre Dame Du Laus RC Church at Powerview, MB.

JB worked 35+ years at the Pine Falls Paper Company. Retired at 55. He loved working on vehicles, hunting fishing and dancing! Most of all he took pride watching his grand kids playing hockey, enjoying rink fries!

A special thank you to the Seven Oaks and Pine Falls Hospital for their loving care and support. Also thank you to Sobering funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Arthritis Society.

Matthew, Shawn, Stephanie, spouses, and children, my heart is broken for you. As my own father’s one year passing date falls upon me tomorrow, please know that I understand the very heartbreaking, and unfathomable pain that you are all feeling. There are no words that can take the pain and suffering away. There is no correct way to grieve the loss of your beloved Daddy. The days, weeks and months to come, will be filled with a fog that seems unbearable. Just know you have family and friends that want you to fall upon them in times of deepest sorrow. Grieve gently, and talk to your Dad. He’s listening. Xox
