Posted By Sobering Funeral Chapel On July 5, 2021 @ 3:48 pm In Obituaries | 63 Comments

May 14, 1948 – July 3, 2021

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing our of dearly loved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Jo-Anne Luena Lower (Dalton), who suddenly passed on Saturday, July 3, 2021.  Left to celebrate her life is her husband Dave; daughters Terri (Jarrod), Kelly (Emily), D’Arcy (Tyler) and Stacy (Buddy); grandchildren Josh, Brynn, Piper, Avery, Andi, Charlie and Weston.  She was predeceased by her mother Luena Dalton and father Percy Dalton (Sadie).

Nothing meant more to Jo-Anne than family and friends.  Her greatest joy was watching her grandchildren and seeing her daughters grow up to be the wonderful mothers they are today.  She was loved by many neighbours and friends in her community and her winter home in Florida.  Jo-Anne was a dog lover, never leaving the house without treats in her pockets for any dog that may cross her path.

The family would like to thank the staff at HSC for their care and compassion during this this sudden and difficult time.

As per Jo-Anne’s request, cremation has taken place and a private celebration of her life will be held at her family home along the Winnipeg River.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Jo-Anne’s memory can be made to Canadian Cancer Society or Cerebral Palsy Kids and Families.
