Peacefully at age 94, Jean passed away at East Gate Lodge on Tuesday, November 15, 2016.
She will be sadly missed by her children Violet (Don) Creek, Joyce (Ray) Mazur, Mary (Andy) Kuchenski, Elizabeth (Reg) Royko, Bernie (Florence) Kisiloski, Eileen Martin, Sharon (Bill) Zinyk, stepdaughter Verna (Jim) Wolanin, 18 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, brother Joe (Violet) Neduzak, and several nieces and nephews.
Jean was predeceased by her parents Albert and Mary Neduzak, her husband Martin Kisiloski and her second husband Steve Jurewicz, her brother John and sister in-law Violet and Eileen’s friend Helmut.
Jean was born on May 10, 1922 in Hazelglen, Manitoba. She married and raised a family on a farm in the Garson area. Her retirement years were spent in Beausejour where she continued her love of gardening and entertaining all those who dropped in for a visit.
We will always remember our mother for her strength, her gentle and cheerful disposition and her welcoming hospitality. Family gatherings, where her resourcefulness and creative cooking talents shone, will be among our many cherished memories. We are grateful for the wisdom and life skills that she passed on to us.
We would like to thank all of Mom’s caregivers for their love, support and companionship especially during her last years at East Gate Lodge.
Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 19 at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue E., Beausejour with viewing one hour prior to the service.
Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations may be made in Jean’s memory to the East Gate Lodge Personal Care Home, Box 1690, Beausejour, MB R0E 0C0 or a charity of one’s choice.

I will always remember the fun times with your family as I was growing up, we lots of good times at the family home playing around as children do making mud pies, dill pickles (that no one would eat) and enjoyed many of those meals that your mom was famous for.
