1934 ~ 2012
James Solomon, aged 77 years, passed away suddenly on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at home in Hillside Beach surrounded by his family.
James was predeceased by his son Douglas Solomon, sister Dona Mae and son in-law Gary Klippenstien. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Betty (nee Smith-Gaunt) of 32 years, his children Debbie, Michele, Dan, Laura and step-daughter Val. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and many great grandchildren as well as extended family and friends.
James worked for CN as a car clerk for many years. He spent his retirement calling Bingo, golfing, chopping wood and taking Charlie for walks.

A Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, July 17 at 12:00 p.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue E., Beausejour with viewing 1 hour prior to the service. Interment followed in Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Avenue, Winnipeg.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, c/o Box 327, RR 3, Beausejour, MB R0E 0C0 or to a charity of one’s choice.
