Peacefully, at the age of 81, Jacqueline Dreffs passed away at East Gate Lodge on Wednesday, July 5, 2023.
Jacqueline is survived by her husband Almer of 53 years; brothers Tom and Gordon; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Karl and Eva Burnett; brothers Bob, Harvey and Ron; sisters Joy and Linda.
She was born on April 8, 1942 in Kingston, Ontario and married Almer Dreffs on January 10, 1970.
Special thanks to Home Care (Drea-Sunshine); friend Carol at East Gate Lodge; nurses and staff at East Gate Lodge and Sobering Funeral Chapel.
At Jacqueline’s request, cremation has taken place and no formal funeral service will be held.
If anyone desires, donations in Jacqueline’s memory may be made to the Diabetes Society or East Gate Lodge Personal Care Home.
