By the grace of God, the family of Ida Busch sadly announces her passing on September 1, 2021.
Mom was born on October 27, 1927, in Krucha, Poland. After surviving the war, Mom married Rudi Walter Busch in 1947. After the birth of three children, the family immigrated to Canada in 1962. Mom was always a hard worker; Gateway Restaurant, Rice Sportswear sewing factory, and Schneider’s, not to mention her great cooking and gardening skills.
She will always be lovingly remembered by her children; Rolf (Judith), Peter (Angel) and Bettina (George); grandson Christian (Quianna); all in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.
Many thanks go out to all her caregivers during her time at home. To Dr. Van Rensburg, “ALL” the staff at East Gate Lodge for their loving care, Sobering’s for your human compassion, Lucy’s Catering and Carnation Corner for your wonderful service!
Viewing will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel in Beausejour, Manitoba. A luncheon in the Beausejour Room at the Brokenhead River Community Hall in Beausejour, will take place following the interment.

To Peter, Angel and family, sorry for your loss. Ida was always wonderful even as us kids playing in the street she watched over all of us neighbourhood kids to later when dad was next door. She will be missed.
