Peacefully, surrounded by family, Marion passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at the age of 86.
Marion was born and raised in Winnipeg, MB, the eldest daughter of Hilda & Archie Stairs.
Marion is survived by her children George, Randy, Colette, Debbie and their families. She was a proud grandmother & great-grandmother and loved spending time with each and every one of them.
Marion had four great loves in her life. Family, teaching, community, and travel.
Thank you to all the home care workers, doctors and staff at the Vita Personal Care Home for making her life more comfortable as the end approached.
A Celebration of her Life will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 1 pm at the Vita Friendship Centre, 226 Home Street, Vita, MB.

My deepest sympathy goes to Marion’s family and friends. Marion was one of my first teacher friends from way back when I first started my teaching career in Woodridge. She was a very kind and caring person and will be missed.

I became acquainted with Parnell and Marion when they moved to Beausejour. I always enjoyed my chats with them.
