June 2, 1929 – February 24, 2018
It is with deep sorrow that we, the family, announce the peaceful passing at Health Sciences Centre on Saturday, February 24, 2018 in the presence of family, that our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather was taken to his heavenly home.
He is the beloved husband of Nancy (Newman), loving father of sons Murray (Suzan)-Scott, Kayla; Neil (Cynthia)-Erin (Shay Oluyemi), Kendra, Gabriel; daughter Cynthia Goulet-Matthew, Tyler and two great grandchildren Asher and AnnaBeth.
He was predeceased by infant daughter Twyla Rona-Lee and son in-law Mike (Michel) Goulet, brothers Arthur and Lloyd, sister Elsie Hastman and his parents Edward and Martha (Schroeder) Zielke.
Due to inclement weather, the family has rescheduled the service to Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue E., Beausejour. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.
Pallbearers are son Murray and grandsons Matthew, Tyler, Scott, Gabriel and Shay.
In lieu of flowers, if relatives and friends so desire, donations in Harry’s memory may be made to The Gideons of Canada or Gateway Community Church Building Fund.
Our sincere thanks to the Doctors and Nurses of Concordia Hospital and Health Sciences Centre for their care and compassion, also to Pastors Peter Todd and Ken Peters. God bless you all.
