1923 ~ 2012
Harold Graham, aged 88 years, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 9, 2012 at the Whitemouth Personal Care Home.
He is predeceased by his loving wife Helen (nee Parker), of 52 years, daughter in-law Lorraine, brother Don and sister Win.
He will be lovingly remembered by his children Dale (Helen), Glenn, Gary, Dennis (Lori), Mike (Lise) and Cheryl (Mike), his grandchildren Samantha, Tony, Tina, Michelle, Kreg, Curtis, Kaitlyn and Josh and his seven great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Betty and brother in-law Harold (Shirley).
Harold was born and raised in The Beaver Valley area in Ontario. He served in WWII, with distinction, on a RAF Bomber Command. He moved his family to Manitoba in 1968 where he worked at Atomic Energy of Canada Limited as a Millwright. In 1985, he retired and enjoyed visiting family, travelling and gardening.
A special note of thanks to the Whitemouth Personal Care Home and Clinic for all their care and compassion they showed towards our Dad.
As per Harold’s wishes, a private celebration of Harold’s life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, if friend and family so desire, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10-120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2.
