Condolence from Joan on April 20th, 2023 5:39 pm

Dear Margaret,
I was saddened to hear that Gordon had passed away. I had so many chats with him just hearing his voice and laughter warmed my heart he sounded so much like Don.
I will be thinking of you and your family as you go through this difficult time.
He was a brilliant man and often joked about how much smarter he was than his “older” brother!!
Sending hugs your way Margaret
My deepest sympathy to you and your family.
Joan

Condolence from Ronald C Battley on April 22nd, 2023 1:20 pm

I met Gordon , Margaret and Catherine when they arrived at the Saigon Apartments in Winnipeg in 1960.
I helped Gordon unload his car and trailer and we became fast friends ,even though our jobs separated us by many miles over the years. The friendship never waivered as we kept in constant contact by visits, e mail and telephone . Gordon was inquisitive and bold, you never knew what he would do next and he would carry out his new endeavourment with aplomb . A great man has left us to be with his Kilts and Bagpipes !
Our condolences to you Margaret ,Catherine and Francis .
With love Ron And Sharon Battley
