Leave A Condolence

Glen Alan Miller

Born December 6, 1950 at Whitemouth, MB, died September 12, 2021 at Pinawa, MB after a brave struggle with lung cancer. Survived by his loving wife, Lynne, his son Desmond, and daughter-in-law Roxanne. He was predeceased by his mother, Gwendolyn Thelva Miller (2003), and his father, Harold Miller (2014). Also survived by brothers Brian (Diane) and Ken, and sisters Donna Shank (Fern) and Sandra Greenaway (Ron).

Glen was kind, patient, and hardworking; he was a brilliant and amazing artist who had a passion for painting and carvings. He had unconditional love for his wife of 41 years, his beloved son Des and daughter- in- law Roxanne. His kindness and compassion extended to his fur babies Mia and Kiki and his fur baby grandson Gizmo.

A talented draftsman, Glen began his career with Manitoba Hydro and went on to work for Wardrop Engineering and other major firms in Manitoba and Saskatchewan before venturing out on his own as an independent. His innate modesty, attention to detail and creativity were appreciated by everyone who came into contact with him. He could design a house, build a fence, create a garden, and fix just about anything.

He was a generous and giving soul who always put others first.  Glen was the backbone of the family and will be remembered for his sarcastic humor and good, sweet-hearted nature.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew him, particularly his devoted dog, Kiki.

COME TO ME

God saw you were getting tired, and a cure was not to be.

So He put His arms around you, and whispered, “Come to me.”

With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away.

Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay.

Your golden heart stopped beating, Your hard working hands at rest.

God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the BEST.

Eternal Love,

Your wife, family and Kiki
