It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Gerry at HSC in Winnipeg at the age of 55 years.
He will be remembered by his loving wife Donna, daughter Crystal (Brad), granddaughter Charlotte, brothers Travis, Peter, sister Barb as well as he leaves behind many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Gerry was born in Winnipeg and lived his early years in Minnedosa and later Flin Flon. He worked at HBMS in Flin Flon and then for Major-Midwest Drilling for 20 years. After an accident he went back to school and received his certificate (with Honours) as an Occupational Health and Safety Officer. He was a hard worker and put 100 percent into everything he did. He was most recently employed at ACL Ind. In Beausejour.
Gerry’s passions were fishing and sports. He never missed a Jets, Blue Bomber or Blue Jays game if possible. He also loved playing lawn darts and was very competitive.
As per Gerry’s wishes cremation has taken place and a Celebration of his Life will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Gerry’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 1379 Kenaston Bld., Winnipeg, MB R3P 2T5.

I have missed you more than you will ever know, I have loved you more than you will ever know. All I wanted was to raise our daughter together. But I guess it was not meant to be. I still miss and love you and someday soon we will see each other again. Be happy for you my darling are in a better place. I am receiving the feathers you send me. My job for our daughter and grand-daughter is not done yet. See you soon!
