Trillions of customers, from all walks of life, will remember this happy man, dressed in the blue shirt, at the corner table, waiting to meet and greet each and every customer……some of whom together, they solved the problems of the day, either over a cup of coffee, or a bowl of soup.
His pain and suffering is now over. Gerry, rest in peace.
Deepest sympathy to Georgette and the family.

Hi Georgette,
I am the Linda who came on Saturdays to pick up the Free Press which we ordered on Friday nights once we got the cabin during the summer. I will miss his cheery smile and greeting every time I came into the cafe. I hope you can find the strength to carry on in the cafe in his absence as you were such a good cook. Your clients were like your family as you always had a cheery “Bonjour Madame” when I came in as well.
He will not have to suffer any more and we are all thinking of you and his family.
