On November 21st an angel was taken from us. Rest in paradise Gary. He will be sadly missed by family and many friends. A celebration of Gary’s life will be held at a later date.

A friend and I spent a delightful afternoon with Gary back in 2010. We talked in depth with Gary and he showed us his distinct house and natural grounds while I recorded the afternoon in photographs.
Today I looked at my notes and they read, “born 1939 to a Ukrainian Polish Mother and a Scottish Father and raised by his grandparents, self taught builder and icon painter. He built his house on the Whitemouth River for refuge from the noise pollution and stress of the city.”
Gary was a unique man who I had the good fortune of meeting.
