Dear Donna and family, so sorry for your loss. It is with sadness and disbelief to hear of Gary’s passing. We were lifelong friends who enjoyed hockey, fastball and curling together over the years. He was always there with a smile and a friendly greeting. Gone too soon. Rest in peace friend.

Condolence from James Panson on September 21st, 2017 3:45 pm

Deepest sympathy Donna and family,
Garry was a very special kind and gentle man.
An inspiration to all who knew him, with a unbelievable work ethic and upbeat attitude towards life, his friends and family !
He always thought of others before himself !
This could be seen in the hrs of volunteer time to the community,
friends or family in need of help. He was the first person to lend a hand or offer his help.
He was my brother in the fraternal order of eagles and will be remembered fondly and missed dearly.
RIP brother Garry !!

Condolence from Allan Merkel on September 21st, 2017 3:54 pm

As we are not originally from this area, I only got to know Garry for a few short years. I knew him as a kind, soft spoken , gentle person. I wish we could have gotten to know him better. Rest in peace Garry, free of pain and discomfort. Rest easy in knowing Donna will be watched over by your fellow Eagles.

Donna and family,
Our deepest condolences on your loss of Garry. He was a great man and I will deeply miss the bantering at the rink. I will cherish the memories of fun at the rink, bonspiel antics and just chatting about life. Gone way to soon, but hopefully you can draw comfort in knowing his pain and suffering are over.
