Dear Bryan and Tim, Barb and Diane and family,
We were very sorry to learn of Eugene’s passing and send our condolences to all of you on your loss.
It has been many years since we last saw Eugene and Rose and you, but we have kept fond memories of the times we lived almost kitty corner from them and often stopped for a visit and coffee. The last time we met was when we came to Canada and together we visited Tim and Diane somewhere in the late 90s. Eugene was always in a good mood and ready to tell a joke or story. We never saw him without a smile on his face. You must miss him, Our thoughts are with you.

Our sincere condolences to Bryan and Tim and their families on Eugene’s passing. Geno was quite a jokester but also was willing help/advise if you needed a hand. I particularly have memories being at the farm or on Pearce Avenue where we hung out as teenagers. Our thoughts are with you, So long old friend.

Our families thank you for your kind words and bringing back some of the many memories we had.
I will never forget the crazy time we all had playing in the band in a remodelled chicken koop on the Kondratiuk’s farm not wanting us to ever stop playing Ukrainian music and CCR.

My father will be missed but knowing he is with my mother (Rose) again makes Brian, I and our families feel less of the sorrow.

My condolences to Uncle Geno’s family. He was an amazing man and most certainly will be missed.
Some of the best memories of my childhood were with Uncle Geno. He and Aunt Rosemary would come visit Grandma Baker and while the ladies had their vist, we’d walk down to the dock and go fishing. I don’t remember what we talked about or even if we caught anything but I loved every minute of it.
There was also the time we negotiated me working their potato farm one summer and him paying me 10 cents per potato bug until Aunt Rosemary put the brakes on that – he probably would have paid my first year University.
I have no doubt his grandkids have similar memories that include his laugh; I am so sorry for your loss.

It is wonderful to here from you Chantelle and your potato bug story, sounds like my father did not have enough chickens to look after those bugs and what he would do. Say hello to your father from us,

Was good talking the other day, my father never told me about the horse and wagon done the ditch

Sad to hear about your loss Yusichen’s! I have fond memories of all those dinners over many years at Diane and Tim’s where Gino would be there with his jovial smile and how he always had a great story to tell or a joke to share. I only knew him in his retired years and it would seem to me he enjoyed himself a great deal in that period. I am glad the grandkids got a chance to know him and hear his stories. I am sure he will be missed at all your family functions to come. Thinking of you guys!

Just back home and heard of Geno’s passing. Sympathy to his family. He will definitely be entertaining in the next world. Went fishing with Geno a few times and really enjoyed his company. A real fun guy. I am sure everybody will miss him May he R I P
