1931 ~ 2015
Elizabeth Tyndall passed away with peace and grace on August 10, 2015. Elizabeth (Liz) is survived by daughters Tracey Tyndall, Heather Ellis, and son Blair Tyndall. She also leaves grandchildren Garrett and Nevin Doll, Evan Pott, and Bryston and Elizabeth Tyndall. Liz was predeceased by her husband Alvin in 2006.
She grew up in Brookfield, the daughter of Emil and Ina Larson, wonderful, kind and loving parents. She worked in Winnipeg for several years before marrying, and then spent most of the remainder of her life on the family farm near Old Pinawa.
She will be remembered as a loving, kind, thoughtful mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She had a beautiful smile and gentleness that made you feel welcome, loved and safe. She was energetic, hardworking, creative and listened more than she talked. Her greatest joy was seeing to the needs of others, especially feeding others.
Although a light went out for us on August 10th, we have wonderful memories and the very best role model one could ever follow. We always knew she was in our corner, loving us unconditionally, and taking great pleasure in all our lives. Rest in peace dearest Mom and Granny, you did your job and we hope we were able to bring you the joy in life that you brought to ours. We will miss you.
A memorial service will be held at The Royal Canadian Legion, Lac du Bonnet, Manitoba Canada on Sunday, August 23rd at 11am.
The family wishes to thank everyone at the Pinawa Hospital and The Ironwood for their care and thoughtfulness. And last, but not least, a special thanks to her pillar of strength, her wonderful big brother Lennart, for always being there for her.
Our Mom and Granny loved all flowers. Please do not send us flowers, but consider putting one in a glass for yourself, we know that would make her the happiest.

I am so sorry to hear this news. My sister and I called her Aunty Liz back when we were growing up. My dad Ron and Liz’s husband Alvin were close friends as kids and it stayed that way until my Dad passed in 2005.
Our families grew up together and I have warm memories of those times we shared.
Aunty Liz was one of the kindest people I ever met. She will be missed
Sending love to the family,
Dale

I am deeply saddened to hear of Aunty Liz passing. She played a major role in my upbringing as did her family. I spent countless weekends and holidays at the Tyndall family farm and I have the fondest memories of everyone. Aunty Liz was truly the kindest person I have met and she will be missed. Sending my warmest thoughts and love to the family.
