Ed was a kind, gentle soul and a most devoted son to his dear mother, Mary. To have learned about his passing this evening leaves us somber. Peace is found in that our most recent visits with Ed leave us most heartfelt. To his siblings, he spoke very highly of you all. We want to tell you we are thinking of you in your loss and that Ed will be missed by our family. He was a great supporter of Dawn in her studies – always inquiring, “how much longer do you have?” Ed also helped me through the dreaded Statistics course – tutoring & rooting me on the whole way…all three times! He always asked about our children as well and what they were up to. A specialness for him will remain with us. The Sawatsky Family
