I am sad to hear about the passing of Doug…’Little Gibber’. I have lots of fond memories growing up with him and his family. School, the lake and Grenfell Blvd in Tuxedo.
Life is so fragile! He will be missed!

A young man, gone too soon! He will be deeply missed down here, but know that Doug is now and forever, in the fold of his loving parents.

Doug and his dad (Sr.) were both friends of ours. We watched as he cared for his dad with love. When we were neighbour’s, we relied on each other and he and Georgia were part of our lives. When he moved to Rennie, we were glad he was still close. No more worries, Doug!

I can still hear Doug at the Rennie Hotel “how you doin”. Will miss his smiles.

We send our love and condolences to the whole family. I’m sure anyone who has ever known the Gibson family, would agree that once you were in their presence, you were treated as family. Years have passed; but, if asked what are our memories of genuine good people, who we remember with love and a smile, the Gibson Family is #1. So sad. Doug will be fondly remembered. Ken and Marilyn

I am deeply saddened by Doug’s death. “Gibby” was my high school sweetheart and an important part of my life back then. It’s been many years since I’ve seen him but I remember him very fondly and send my condolences to his family and friends.

My sincere condolences to Rick and family at this difficult time. I remember Gibby fondly, he had a very gentle nature and a wicked sense of humour. Best of all, he was so much fun! He was def one of of the funniest and most trustworthy guys at our high school. I have many fond memories from hanging out with him and his friends back in the day. Very sorry for your loss.
