Donavon William Johnston

November 17, 1983 – October 29, 2022

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the tragic passing of Donavon William Johnston on October 29, 2022, at 38 years young.

Lovingly remembered by his partner Valerie; parents Roger and Louise; brother Greg; sister Natalie; grandparents Margaret Johnston and Louis Malo; uncles Paul, Rodney and Glen; nieces Ashlynn, Scarlett, Avory, Zeina, and Harlow; nephews Taylan and Tyran; along with numerous friends and his good fishing buddy Leonard.

Donavan was a kind hearted man who loved his family, his friends, and who enjoyed playing his guitar and going fishing.

Wake service will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 starting at 3:00 p.m. at 846 Northshore Road, Sagkeeng First Nation, MB with Funeral Service to be held on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Christ Church Anglican, Fort Alexander, MB.

    I am so very sorry to hear of this tragic news. Donavon was a kind hearted soul for sure. My condolences and prayers to all the family. May your memories bring you comfort as you remember him. He was much too young to die! I am SO hurting for you Rodney and Roger……

    So sorry the our family for the loss of your son, grandson, brother, cousin and uncle. He was a fun spirited man and nothing can erase this tragedy from your hearts, but lean unto Jesus and he will give you rest from your burdens! MATTHEW 11:28 ♥️
