Donald Mervin Solberg, born in Salmon Arm, BC on July 7, 1940, suddenly passed away in his sleep July 15, 2011.

Don was the beloved husband of the late Wilma Solberg, and father of Eugene, Laura (Colleen) and Wayne (Arlene).  Grandpa will also be dearly missed by Justin, Matthew, Brayden, Alexa, Allysa and Brianna.  Don will be dearly missed by his partner Rose, and the closest friends that he knew and loved.

Dad, Uncle, Grandpa, Camper Don, Skipper, and friend will be sadly missed for his honesty, kindness and heartfelt generosity.

God bless you Dad, we’ll miss you.

We invited all to celebrate dad’s life on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lac du Bonnet Legion Hall.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Don’s memory may be made to Scouts Canada, 395 Stafford St., Winnipeg R3M 2X4, c/o Lac du Bonnet Scout Group.
