It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and nana, Dolores Peluk, at the age of 91 years on August 22, 2022 at Eastgate Lodge Personal Care Home, in Beausejour, MB.
Mom was predeceased by her husband, Edward in 2015 and her siblings Joe, Mary, Frank, Angela, Trudy and Stanley. There are many other family and friends for whom she held a special place in her heart but are too numerous to mention.
Her memory will be cherished by her children Sandra (Rick), Ron (Lori), Allan, Shirley (Randy); grandchildren Dana (Brent), Evan, Steven (Brittany), Carly (Tyler), Ryan (Courtney), Mark (Kaitlyn) and Travis; and great grandchildren, Madison, Liam, Hayden, Natalie, Shannon, Teddy, Huxley, Lennox and Mirielle.
Mom had many talents, but her cooking and baking were beyond excellent. Her flower gardens were a labour of love and she enjoyed making flower arrangements for the house.
Mom was a compassionate, loving, soft spoken, and hardworking woman who devoted her life to her family and the Lord. She was a caregiver during her lifetime raising four children, caring for granny and then dad for as long as she was able to. Her determination and strength helped her face many challenges in her life and her patience was unlimited. She never complained and always put everyone else’s needs before her own. We were truly blessed to be able to call her mom.
We would like to express our appreciation and heartfelt thanks to the staff at Eastgate Lodge. A special thank you to nurses Jade, Barb, Camille and Robin for the compassionate care given to mom especially during her final days.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Sobering Funeral Chapel in Beausejour, MB with viewing one hour prior.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in mom’s memory to Parkinson Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society.
