1963 ~ 2013
After a courageous battle with Cancer, Dennis, at the age of 50, of Beausejour, Manitoba, has passed away on October 12, 2013 at the Beausejour Hospital. He was survived by the Love of his Life, Laureen and step-daughter Sheena. His mother Bernice Paseshnik, sister Shelly Stroud and nephew Joshua Stroud. He was predeceased by his father Garry Stroud, grandparents Rose and Steve Paseshnik and Bill and Beryl Stroud. He will be greatly missed by many family and friends.
Dennis grew up and attended school in the North End of Winnipeg. The Love of Country and farm life in his teenage years made him move to Brokenhead where he completed education.
Dennis spent all his summer holidays and weekends at his Baba and Gigi Paseshnik’s. Working on the farm and enjoying time with his friends.
Dennis worked over 20 years at Standard Quarries in Stonewall and the last 7 years and Coldspring Granite.
Dennis enjoyed most of his time at the Lee River Cabin every chance he had. Fishing, snowmobiling, watching the Bomber Games on the deck and being with his Lake Family the Lee River Night Crawlers.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 18, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel Beausejour, Manitoba. A private interment will follow at a later date.
In lieu of flowers if friends and family so desire, donations in his memory may be made to Cancer Care – Multiple Myeloma.
