January 13, 1961 – December 19, 2017
Its hard to lose someone who gave us so much to remember. In your life you touched so many…when you passed, many lives were changed. Our hearts are broken when we lost you suddenly December 19, 2017.
You have joined your beautiful family; Mom and Dad, Dorothy and John Griffith and dear brother Gary Griffith. You are missed dearly by many wonderful Cousins, second Cousins, Aunts and Uncles that meant so much to you and contributed to many years of happy memories. Missing you and brokenhearted is your wife and life partner Linda Griffith. My love, you gave me the happiest 10 years of my life; you taught me what true love is really about. “As you wish” my Wesley. XO Many family members who loved and adored you include Madyson Fahr, whom you loved like your own daughter; the two of you shared an amazing friendship that Madyson will never forget. Curt McCrae who loved you and looked to you as a mentor and father figure. Grandkids C.J., Skyler and Ryan who miss you dearly as well as your advice and great wisdom. Brothers in-law Ronnie & Jen (wife) George and Danny George who will miss your fun humour and great, friendly nature; Greg and Kim, Riley and Kaitlyn Love, as well as Vic (Papa) Love who you adored, loved and respected. The “brothers” in your life Tim Pedden and “little buddy” Wade Hubbard…you guys meant the world to Dave, he would thank you for your friendships, honesty and whiskey…Cheers!
Dave Griffith had an amazing and successful career with IBM for 32 years. Dave loved working at IBM and was well respected in the computer community as well as by staff and colleagues. Dave was an avid reader, history buff and you could find him every Sunday working on his crossword puzzles and Suduko. Dave was a gifted storyteller…you could find a few of his short stories randomly appear on Facebook. Dave had a gift of taking in everyday life stuff and turning it into a wonderful and funny read.
You left us all too soon Dave…So many stories left to tell. We’ll remember your great and kind heart and beautiful spirit…your wisdom, loving husband and dear friend to so many.
“To the gentleman of gentleman’s…
may the wisdom of Heaven blow softly my love and whisper in your ear,
how much we love and miss you and wish that you were here.”
Dave’s wish, and “Celebration of His Life” will take place this summer at the cabin on Saturday, July 14, 2018. Invitations with details to follow.

My condolence to you Linda and family. He was a wonderful person. He always made me laugh on his visits with the fur boys. I will never forget the kind person he was on my weekend visit. I still have his 7 page directions out to your place. Very detailed and funny directions.
