1950 – 2020
It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister Darlene Fitzmaurice.
She leaves to mourn her passing her beloved husband of 49 years, Ken. She leaves her two sons Ray (Terri) and Ron (Tara); as well she is survived by her grandchildren; Kaitlyn (Corey), Samantha (Riley), Trey, Kolton and Sierra. She leave her siblings Louise, Bill (Carol), and Leslie as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Many thanks to Dr. Bruneau and the nurses and staff at CancerCare Pinawa, and the doctors and nurses at Beausejour Hospital for all the care and compassion they showed towards Darlene.
A Come and Go Celebration of Life will be held Friday, March 13 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., in the Beausejour Room of the Brokenhead River Community Hall, 320 Veterans Lane.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.

Ken, our deepest condolences! We will miss seeing Darlene at the bowling alley! It is so hard to say a final farewell to a loved one! Take comfort in knowing that she will live on in the minds of all who knew her! Be gentle with yourself as you go through this difficult time!

I had such great visits with Auntie Darlene and Unker when we came from Ontario. She will be truly missed, sending my love to the family during this difficult time.

Our hearts break with yours Ken, Ray, Ron and families. Darlene was such a wonderful woman. She always beamed with pride when talking about her children and grandchildren. Hard days to follow, but she is finally resting peacefully.
