It is with peace in God that we announce the passing of our beloved Cindy Guimond on Thursday, October 11, 2018, with her family by her side, after a lengthy battle with cancer.
She was the wife of Claude Guimond, mother of Farrel Guimond (Peggy), Emery Guimond, Shaylene Guimond and Shezna Guimond. She also leaves her loving grandchildren, Treasure, Starla, Luna, Donte, Shay, Isabell, Libby and Shenzah; grandchildren who she loved so dearly. She is also the beloved sister of Todd Courchene (Tamara) and Mark Courchene (Carolyn).
Although we feel the grief and mourning for her, we know she is with God in heaven and will always be with us in our memory and our hearts.
Wake service will be Friday, October 12 to Sunday, October 14 at the residence of Todd Courchene, North Shore Rd., Fort Alexander.
Funeral mass will be Monday, October 15 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Alexander Roman Catholic Church, Sagkeeng First Nation, with Father Augustine officiating. Viewing will start at the church at 1:00 pm.
