February 8, 1946 ~ May 26, 2023

Peacefully with family and friends by her side, Colleen Frank passed away at Pinawa Hospital on May 26, 2023, after a lengthy battle with cancer and COPD.

She is lovingly remembered by her son Jason (Natasha); grandson Jack and granddaughter Sydne; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Colleen was predeceased by her late husband, Ronald Frank, in 2005.

Mom lived an idyllic life, out in the country with her cats and there was no other place she’d rather have been. She loved bowling and dedicated a lot of time to volunteering at the local food bank. She was an avid Winnipeg Blue Bombers fan and could often be found yelling at the TV during a game. She was a great mom and a loyal friend who enjoyed sitting down at the end of the day, sipping a Crown on the rocks. She is greatly loved and will be dearly missed by many.

As per her wishes cremation has taken place and a private service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Beausejour or Lac du Bonnet Food Bank.

I am so sorry to hear of Colleen’s passing. I have so many great memories of her. I always loved when her and Ron would come for a visit and she would bring her cat Bullet. That meant I had a cat for the weekend. She was such a kind loving lady. I am happy that I got to spend the time I did with her sharing laughs and making memories. She was a true gem. She will be lovingly missed and remembered. Condolences to all of her family.
