I am sooooooo very sad to here this , I will miss going to see him in the summer time at his place ! It was always such fun visiting him and walking through his garden.., He was always so good to us girls when we went there , and he was always so happy to see his Auntie Irene… We always felt the love that came from him and he always welcomed us into his yard and home with such warmth and of course BIG HUGS . I will surely miss going there , it was like a going back home feeling . It’s with my deepest sincere condolences to the family, and my prayers that I can only imagine how heartbroken you are all going through…

Condolence from Denice Joseph Franco on March 17th, 2022 4:11 pm

Condolences to family and friends, Clifford always had his door open to our family, his big smile and happy face was always happy to see us especially when we had his Auntie Irene with us ,he would share family history . He never let us leave empty-handed, sharing his fish and vegetables from his garden. And letting us park our car at his place so we could spend time walking around the North Shore . Rest in peace cousin Clifford going to really miss all of the above, the best gardener ever. Love Denice and your auntie Irene.

Condolence from Doug Ursel on March 17th, 2022 9:18 pm

It was a pleasure to have worked with him on the paper machines. He would often call me to ask a question and he would always apologize for calling me at home with such a dumb question, they were never dumb and usually something that I forgot to pass along to the night shift.

Doug

I can’t believe I just read about Cliffs passing almost a year ago. My dad Bill and Cliffs mom Mary were 1st cousins. As a young fellow I remember the rides to Victoria Beach to visit our cousins. Out on the lake for boat rides to Elk Island to pick blueberries. I was blessed to see some of my cousins more often when they came to school in Selkirk. I remember Tommy picking up Clifford and me at the Comp in his red convertable and smoking the tires in front of the school. Awesome. Those times were special. Last time i talked with Clifford was at the Birchwood Hotel when I was working on PTH 59 at Traverse Bay. I know the past few years were hard on Cliff and his family. Our condolences to Cliffords immediate family and sisters Verna Debbie Collen and Diane, love you all. ❤
