So sorry to hear this. We considered Chris a good friend. He spent many hours at Mr. Pic’s Restaurant on Union business and always finished off with coffee, apple pie and great conversation! He will be truly missed. Liz and Pic

We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Chris. We are presently in Texas for the winter and were
very surprised to see it in the Free Press on our computer.
Our condolences to Jane and the family. He is out of pain now. Take good care of yourself and
we will be thinking of you.
Sincerely, cousin Gerald and Barb

My memories of this talented giving friend also are shared by my family who
lived our story together. My retirement to Strathclair makes this day in winter
unable to be with Jane and the entire family. My condolences and prayers today
and days ahead. Our years of sharing, meeting continued over 35 years. Chris
would never forget during his health issues – linking me with another lifetime
friend Richard. My memorial service will be everlasting with photos, records
of a Chris Christensen across his Canada.
Sincerely, a special friend

Sorry to hear of Chris passing. Just saw it as I had his name in my address book. We were both involved in the Abitibi Pension Board in the early 90’s. He visited me here in Thunder Bay back in 2008 I believe. We went out for dinner and he stayed at my place for the night. A great knowledgeable guy. We often talked about the issues that plague the planet and enjoyed our thoughts. I have thought of him often and regret not calling when I could of . Rest in peace my friend until we meet again.
