It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mom, oma, great-oma, sister and friend, Ria, who passed away at East Gate Lodge on January 19, 2021 at the age of 81.
She is now reunited with her beloved Earl who passed in 2003.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Denise (Mike) and Michelle and her grandchildren.
Ria was born and raised in Amsterdam and moved to Canada in the 1960’s to pursue her nursing career.
Many thanks to Dr. Van Rensburg and the staff at East Gate Lodge for all the care and compassion they showed towards our mother.
As per Ria’s wishes, a private family gathering will take place once we are able to gather.
