1922 ~ 2014 Long time Virden resident Wilma Hill passed away peacefully at the Whitemouth Long Term Care Facility in Whitemouth, MB on April 12, 2014 at the age of 92. Wilma was born on March 26th, 1922 to Olive and Newb Miller and grew up in Virden with her sister Gwen and brothers Layton and Bill. 1942 ~ 2014 On April 10th, at the young age of 71, Buddy August Osis passed away peacefully, with his family by his side. Dad was born in Pine Falls in 1942, his mother Mary said he was so big (10+ lbs.) that she didn’t have to carry him home, she said she held his hand and they walked out of the hospital together.
