It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of our beloved wife, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, Carol Wladyka, who passed on November 8, 2022 at Pinawa Hospital at the age of 79.
She was predeceased by her parents, Edith and Clarence Hodge; her siblings, sisters Ellen Ray, Laura Hill, Pearl Worsnop and brother Aaron Green.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 40 years, Larry Wladyka.
She is survived by her siblings, sisters Norma Peloquin and Bernice Stefiuk; brothers Larry Hodge and Alvin Hodge.
She was born in Grenfell, Saskatchewan. She loved to cook and host dinner parties. She also loved her flowers and loved to garden.
Many thanks to the staff at Pinawa Hospital and to Dr. Dao and her staff at Cancer Care.
As per Carol’s wishes, no formal service will be held and cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to Cancer Care.
