Berry Raine O’Laney

August 10, 2002 ~ July 31, 2022

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Berry Raine O’Laney, our daughter, sister, mother, granddaughter, niece and friend.

Berry leaves to mourn her parents, Tammy and Randy; siblings Brock, Thady, Randi May, Vince, Thomas and Derrick; her child Nyjah and her boyfriend Jamie, along with many other family and friends.

Berry was very artistic and athletic, always painting, playing basketball or working out.

Berry was a very loving and devoted mother.  She loved spending time and taking care of her son Nyjah.  Berry loved nature, sunsets and animals.  Any chance she could she would take Nyjah for nature walks, along with her cat.  Berry was very loving and caring and loved making anyone she met smile.

Pallbearers are Rene O’Laney, Brock Courchene, Noel Bruyere, Jamie Simard Jr., Melvin Smith and Jasmine Peebles.

Services will be held at Turtle Lodge, Sagkeeng First Nation, Fort Alexander, Manitoba with the Wake at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 8 to Wednesday, August 10 followed by the Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 10, 2022.

My deepest condolences to my brother Randy and my sister in law Tammy. My heart hurts for you all and the kids and grandkids, especially little Nyjah.

Berry had so many things she wanted to do, she wanted to travel. I was planning on taking our Berry Pops on a trip to Switzerland. She excitedly shared the videos of Switzerland to her partner Jamie. My heart goes out to Jamie as well. Berry loved you so much.
I’ll miss you always you my baby girl. My life is forever changed

Tammy, my heart breaks for you, as a mom losing her child. There are no words of comfort or concolence. My deepest sympathies to Berry’s whole family unit and network of friends. May the Creator help you with healing and acceptance, and finally, healing. Love to all. Shink

Sending my condolences to all. Rest In Peace Berry. I will always cherish the memories we had together like the adventures in the bushes trying to find Bigfoot. I’ll forever miss you saying “berry cute” when watching Family Guy. Fly high beautiful. You’re the reason the sky will be so beautiful all the time❤️
