1951 ~ 2012
It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our brother at the age of 60.
He is predeceased by his parents Peggy (nee LaForge) and Mark Spooner, stepfather Norman Whelan, and his Auntie Kay.
He will be lovingly remembered by his sister Alys (Art) of Beausejour, and brother Terry of Kitimat, BC. He is survived by his nieces and nephews: David, Tammy (Doug), Rodney and Lauren. Left to mourn Barry’s passing are many dear friends and associates.
Barry was born in Calgary. He fulfilled his life’s dream of being a long haul driver, a job he truly enjoyed between his much loved fishing trips
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 200-6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
A Memorial Service was held Friday, October 12 at 2:00 p.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue E., in Beausejour.
Offer Condolence for the family of Barry James Spooner
