The family of Bernard Alvin Merke of Beausejour is saddened to announce his passing on July 10, 2022 at the age of 83.
He is lovingly remembered by his children: Marlis Steinke, Bennett (Marni), Jayne Watt (Ryan) and Shawn (Sherena); grandchildren: Eric Lokstet, Tim Lokstet, Nicholas Lokstet, Rowan Steinke, Tristan Merke, Carter Watt, Ryker Watt, Sophia Merke and Sana Merke; sisters: Marge Aitkenhead and Iris Aitkenhead; as well as numerous relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his loving wife Diane; brother in-laws: Norman Aitkenhead and Archie Aitkenhead; and parents: Roy and Pauline.
A Visitation Service will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 14th at Sobering Funeral Chapel and Crematorium, 1035 Park Avenue E., Beausejour. A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, July 15th at Zion Lutheran Church in Beausejour. Interment and lunch will follow the service.
