1938 ~ 2021
Mae Frailick passed away peacefully on Friday, May 7, 2021 at the age of 83 at Riverview Health Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Mom will be lovingly remembered by her children Terry (Chris), Wayne (Linda), Jeff, Susan (Adam), Debbie (Creston); grandchildren Terra (Luke), Kyla, Lianne, Marielyn, Poppy, James and Jake; great grandson Rolan, sister Rita, Sisters-in law Claudia and Iris, Brother-in law Barry (Carol); and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Mom was born in Winnipeg and spent the majority of her life in Beausejour and Winnipeg. She worked at the Bank of Montreal when she married and had her five children in Beausejour. She worked outside the home in a variety of jobs over the years, before retiring from Revenue Canada. She enjoyed gardening, curling, bingo, watching the Winnipeg Jets/Blue Bomber games, and never turned down an opportunity to spend time with family and friends. She volunteered at the Morris Stampede, Pan Am Games, Canadian Legion and the United Way. Mom would do anything for anyone and loved her family very much. At holiday gatherings, mom always greeted you with a big hug and gave the best advice over a glass of wine. We will always remember your beautiful smile, contagious laugh, witty come backs and sense of humor.
We are beyond grateful to all the staff at Riverview Health Center and Grace Hospital for their care and compassion given to mom.
As per mom’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Dear Cousins,
We have just received the sad news of your mum & our dear auntie Mae’s passing. We have beautiful photos & many memories over the years. We visited with her every time we came to Winnipeg. Last summer we took her out to visit my mother, her sister Agnes, in Stonewall. She was a wild woman & so witty, and we loved her so much. We will miss her laugh & her stories. Our condolences to all the family. We will keep you in our prayers.
Love,
Marie & Dave Baer
