February 8, 1939 – February 23, 2020
Peacefully, with her family by her side, our dear wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother Alice Krebs passed away at the Beausejour Hospital, at the age of 81.
She will be forever missed by her husband Gordon of 62 years, 11 children: Loretta (Ken), Rhonda (Otto), Natalie, Brenda (Ken), Wendy (David), Susan (Jacques), Beatrice (Derrick), Audrey (Les), Todd (Shannon), Bernice (Robert), Leanne (Roger), 18 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and her siblings Violet (Laurence) and Gary.
She was predeceased by her daughter Terry Sachvie, parents Henry and Helen Pichur, and her brothers Jim and Stephen.
Mom was born February 8, 1939 in Thalberg, Manitoba, the oldest of 5 siblings. In 1956, she met Gordon and they married on June 15, 1957. Mom worked hard on the family dairy farm for over 30 years. She planted a garden the size of a hockey rink, and cooked and baked everything from scratch for her family. After raising 12 children, our quiet mother had the patience of a saint, and a heart of gold. As mom was so incredibly giving and generous, she always put everyone first before herself; that was her nature. All she ever wanted was for her family to be around her. She would sit quietly, and watch and listen to her children and grandchildren. This gave her great joy.
We would like to thank all the staff of Beausejour Hospital for the compassionate care they provided to our Mom.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Beausejour Hospital T.V. Fund, Box 1614, Beausejour, MB R0E 0C0.
“I can no longer see you with my eyes or touch you with my hands
but I will feel you in my heart forever”.

Our love and prayers go out to Uncle Gordon and family. Aunt Alice was a beautiful lady inside and out. She always had a smile for everyone and a cup of coffee ready no matter when you dropped in for a visit. We will always remember her for her kindness.
Remember our Lord is there to give you strength at this time.
Love you all
