With broken hearts we announce the peaceful passing of our loving and devoted Mom, Grandma and Great Grandma on September 21st, 2020 at Whitemouth Personal Care Home.
Mom was born on March 21, 1924, the youngest of nine children to Alexander and Tillie Demetrioff. She was predeceased by her parents, her brothers Nick, Mike, JB, George and Sonny and her sisters Minnie, Lee and Clara.
Memories of Mom will forever be cherished in the hears of Son Billy (Debbie); Daughters Marlene (Terry) and Sharon (Roger); Granchildren Jennifer, Kevin, Jodi, Karen, Kristy and Tracy; and Great Grandchildren Jaidyn, Alexandra, William, Signy, Cameron, Ashdyn, Emily, Adasyn and Hailey.
We take some comfort in knowing that she has been reunited with her hubby Bill, who passed away in 1990 and her grandson Kyle, who passed away in 2003. Give them a hug and kiss for us, Mom.
Mom lived her life for her family, especially her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren who meant the world to her.
The family would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the staff at Whitemouth Personal Care Home. You treated Mom with kindness, respect and love for which we will always be grateful.
A very special thank you to her nephew, Gerry Demetrioff. Your calls and cards meant the world to Mom. She lit up every time she heard your voice. She called you her “rock”. Thank you Gerry for all you’ve done.
At Mom’s request, there will be no formal service. A private interment will be held.
Also, at Mom’s request, donations in her memory may be made to the St. Boniface Research Foundation.
“Wherever a beautiful soul has been there is a trail of beautiful memories.”

I was very sad to learn that Auntie Ann passed away. Losing a mother is one of the hardest things we can go through, as a mom is the glue that holds a family together. Our thoughts are with you all.

Coch, you will be missed by all that loved you. Although I didn’t keep in contact as I live in Victoria, I still remember the Christmas and New Years dinners that were shared at her home and at my mothers home.
RIP

Gregg and I want to express our sincere sympathies on the loss of Auntie Ann. A mother’s passing is hard no matter our age. Please know she lives on in each of your children and their children.
