Many conversations about small town politics, and world events. Will miss the welcome nod and high 5 from the front row curb seat. Blessings to the family, he will not be forgotten.

I was so sad to hear of Mike’s passing. We always had great conversations and laughs when our paths would cross.
Our family was always appreciative of the Lyric theatre as my mom didn’t have to take us to wpg. to see a movie. We enjoyed alot of great movies there and Mike’s joyful sense of humour.
You were always such a caring man, of the Beausejour community and the people who lived there.
I will always remember your bright smile the big hug we shared and the chit chats we had.
Rest in peace my friend.
Condolences and my sincerest sympathies to Mike’s family.

Mick was the kindest and funniest man, I will miss him very much. Bax was someone I always looked forward to running into in Beausejour, as there was never a single dull moment. Whether it was getting to explore his wonderful old Lyric Theatre or even sharing afternoon conspiracies, he was a one of a kind man. Beausejour will never be the same.

Very sad to hear of micks passing. I won’t forget as a child going to that theatre and he would make me laugh so hard all the time. Loved seeing movies there with my friends and in my desperate times he would always find a job for me to do so I could make that extra cash I needed. My deepest sympathy’s are not only with his family but the town of beausejour as well. Beausejour won’t be the same.

Sincere sympathies on the passing of your father/grandfather. Most mornings I would see him outside or in the window of the Mick Stop, reading his newspaper as I made my way into the flower shop. Always had a hello as I passed. Rest in peace Mick. There will be lots of ” i’ll still mary you” flowers in the gardens of heaven for you to enjoy…..(alstromeria flowers-the catch phrase was the only way he could remember the name of them when he came in to get them). It always provided us with a laugh…

Very sorry to hear of Mike’s passing. I often chatted with him on the street, or he would show me around the historical Lyric. A very interesting man with an adventurous past. I’ll miss seeing him sitting in front of his business.

Mike baxter was my teacher at stevenson junior high back in 1974. He was in charge of the sweathogs as it were. He always had an eye for the diamond in the rough. Once took myself and Randy Lavallee on a plane ride in his Cessna 172. And made two barrel rolls not far from the school. I found that happiness you always wanted for me and I will always miss you.
