1944 ~ 2011
It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father, stepfather, grandfather, great-grandfather and dear friend, Les, on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at the Selkirk General Hospital at the age of 67.
Left to forever cherish his memory is his loving wife, best friend and sole mate, Amy of 26 years.
Les was predeceased by his parents Harry and Melissa Ryerse, brothers and sisters Betty, Ethel, Lawrence, Jim, June, Doug, George and his in-laws Joe and Betty Nagam.
Les is survived and missed by his wife Amy, children Janet (Stony), Rusty (Deb), step-children Wayne (Rachel), Vernon, Sherry (Todd), Georgette (Lee), 19 grandchildren whom he treasured together with numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many close friends.
Les will be dearly missed by his 2 companion dogs, Ruby and Iggy whom he loved and cherished.
Viewing took place Monday, November 21 at 6:00 p.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, Park Avenue E., Beausejour with funeral services on Tuesday, November 22 at 11:00 a.m. also at the Sobering Funeral Chapel, with a luncheon to follow.
We would like to thank the staff and doctors of Selkirk General Hospital for all they did for Les.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in the memory of Les Ryerse to the Beausejour Animal Clinic.
