It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Nancy Ott on Sunday, September 4, 2011 at the Concordia Hospital in Winnipeg, MB at the age of 60.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband Gordon Ott of 41 years, her mother Jenny (Judy) Sobovitch, her sons James Ott (Michelle) and David Ott (Marnie), her brother Barry Sobovitch (Judy), her sister Lois Hnatiuk (Harold), her granddaughters Santana Zieske, Alyssa Durupt, Darien Heinrichs and Summer Ott, as well as many nieces and nephews and her dog Abigail. She was predeceased by her father Ludwig (Alec) Sobovitch.
Nancy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She had a love for gardening, photography, fishing and scuba diving. Nancy was a people person, not materialistic in any way. Her love for life was shown in many ways, from talking for hours on the phone to her friends, having huge family dinners or random stops on the street for catching up with the latest news.
The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to the staff at the Concordia Hospital, Beausejour Hospital and the paramedics.
A Memorial Service was held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue E, Beausejour, MB.
In lieu of flowers, friends and family may make donations in Nancy’s memory to the Beausejour and Area Food Bank, Box 40, Beausejour, MB R0E 0C0

Nancy was a great person she always had a friendly smile and was one terrific lady. My daughter and I so enjoyed her visits to the greenhouse. She will be missed greatly. Our hearts go out to u Gord and your family all the best from Judy and Kathy and our famlies
