It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother Patricia, at the age of 94. Mom passed away surrounded by her family; she left us peacefully at her residence at Sunnywood Manor in Pine Falls, MB.
Mom was predeceased by her husband Emile, parents Lyle and Jean Derry, brother Art, sister in-law Margaret, and first-born grandson Kenneth Lavoie. Left to mourn her passing are her seven children, Arthur (Louise), Lucille, Norma (Vic), Louise, Ramona (Ken), William (Julie), and Robert (Lorrie), as well as 17 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Pat was born May 31, 1928 in Pine Falls. She resided on “The Rock”. She attended school In Pine Falls. Her passion as a young girl was speed skating and swimming. She worked at The Merchantile Store until she met the love of her life Emile. They soon wed and began their family.
Throughout her life, she loved music and dance, gardening, canning, crocheting and knitting. She was a wonderful baker. Mom loved family gatherings and watching her family grow.
Dearest Mom, you will be forever loved and missed.
The family would like to thank the staff at Sunnywood Manor for the loving care given to our mother throughout these difficult years. We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Pine Falls Health Complex for the outstanding and compassionate care given to mom during her last days.
