October 24, 1937 ~ March 28, 2023
With family and friends by her side, Helen Fredette passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at the age of 85 at the Lac du Bonnet Personal Care Home.
Helen will be deeply missed by her son Lyle (Erika), granddaughter Claire, sister Isabelle Fontaine, as well as extended family and cherished friends. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Arthur in 2021.
Helen lived in the Lac du Bonnet area for her entire life. Her passions in life were her family and friends and her love of music, gardening and ceramics. She ran her own flower shop for many years in Lac du Bonnet all while maintaining an enormous, flourishing vegetable garden in her backyard.
Helen was a very friendly and sociable person, always having a kind word for everyone. She was well known for her bright beautiful smile. One of Helen’s greatest joys in life was spending time in the warmth of Kearny, Arizona where she developed many strong friendships. She loved music and when she was with her family and friends she enjoyed playing the guitar and singing with them.
As per Helen’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. Interment will take place at a later date in Lac du Bonnet cemetery.

Lyle, Ericka and Claire we are all very sorry for your loss. To all the extended family we met of Helen and Arts please as well accept our condolences.
We lived next to Helen and Art for 6 years and the summers we spent with them were fantastic. They would always putter in the yard, or as Helen would describe it “getting up to no good” and always with a smile.
Helen was such a warm and caring person, neighbour and friend. She will be greatly missed, but never forgotten!
