Mark Hal Schmuland, born May 31, 1956, at Beausejour Hospital, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2022, after a lengthy illness with his family by his side.
Left to mourn him are his wife of 37 years, Mona; children Mandy and Aubry; sisters Theresa (Gerald) Lepine and Joy (Norman) Daudet; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Henry and Anna Schmuland and his brother Floyd Schmuland.
Mark was an avid motorcycle rider. Something he enjoyed since childhood. Him and his wife loved travelling and spending quality time with family. He will be missed by all who knew him.
As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. A small family/friend memorial service is to be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank Mark’s home care nurses and staff at the Beausejour Hospital for their compassionate care.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Beausejour Hospital T.V. Fund.

Mona and Family; You have my deepest condolences. I knew the Schmuland family as customers and Mark his whole life. We spent two months in Grand Forks as Mona took treatment, and became friends, over twenty years ago. We had many Happy Hours and at Reunions over the following years. My thoughts are with you Mona.
